Awards
In 2015, I was honored by The Varkey Foundation, as a finalist for the first year of The Global Teacher Prize. "The Global Teacher Prize is a US $1 million award presented annually to an exceptional teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to their profession." I am now a member of The Varkay Ambassador program, working to promote great teachers for all students.
I have won three ISTE awards for international projects I created and completed with my students and students around the world. ISTE awards "recognize outstanding achievements, amplify impact and celebrate boldness."

Presentations
I have taught many in-district classes on integrating technology, using UDL in the classroom, setting up a Responsive Classroom, and creating project based learning activities.
